Consulting the Participation Rate of an Event

The attendance rate indicates the number of people who have actually attended the event. This rate is determined based on the actual number of participants present.

Access path: Acquisitions → Events

Go to the edition page of the event and click Report in the upper right under the 3 dots:

In the upper part of the page, there is a report on the evolution of the registrations over the days:

Further down the page, there are 3 charts to interpret the event results:

Distribution of registrations

Distribution of registrations versus cancellations. If a confirmation step is part of the process, you will also see confirmed and unconfirmed registrations.
Participation rateNumber of people who actually attended the event. The participation rate is calculated once the event is over.
Contact acquisitionNumber of new contacts gained from the event, over the total of participants.
If you have chosen to enter attendance outside Dialog Insight, you must do as follows to see the Participation rate chart:
  1. Export the attendance list in one of the valid formats (Excel or CSV) by clicking on Export.
  2. Open the exported file to edit the Present value. It is important NOT TO EDIT any column names or delete any column. ONLY VALUES of this column should be changed.
  3. Enter the value 1 to indicate that the participant was present or 0 if he/she was absent.
  4. Save your edited file. Make sure to save it in a directory that you can access.
  5. Back into Dialog Insight, go to the Participation rate section and click Import.
The Participant rate chart will be displayed. To see a list of the contacts who attended the event and those who registered, click the related element in the chart or the legend.
