Adding Content in an Email

Email blocks (elements and structure) can be used to build an email or a template in the drag-and-drop editor. These blocks can contain different formats such as an image, text or a button. The elements (blocks) style can be customized (colors, size, mobile display). By default, several structure and content blocks are available to meet most needs.

Step 1: Drag a Layout Block

To insert the elements blocks into your email, you must first drag and drop a layout block (columns) into the email: 

Use the layout blocks to create the layout of your email. The locations where the selected blocks can be dropped are indicated as you move around in the email.To customize the column(s), click on the edit icon . The edit options differ slightly depending on the number of columns you choose (background image, background color, column width, gutters). If you want to add a background image over the entire length of the message, use the Default styles section in the left-hand menu.


Step 2: Drag an Element Block

Then, insert one or several elements blocks into a layout block:


Step 3: Edit the Element Block

When you edit a block, you have different possibilities:

• Content: Text, personalization, links with other DI modules, operational links
• Styles:
Colors, fonts
• Settings: Margins, alignment
• Mobile display: Mobile version of the email
