Interpreting the Hyperlink Results for an Email

Hyperlinks are an important indicator for evaluating your emails' performance. Here is a short guide to interpret the results for the hyperlinks you inserted in an email.

Access path: Analytics → Emails

Sends: The email has been delivered but has not necessarily been opened.

Views: The email has been opened in the inbox.

Total clicks: If a contact clicks a hyperlink 5 times, it will be considered as 5 total clicks.

Unique clicks: If a contact clicks a hyperlink 5 times, it will be considered as 1 unique click.

Strategies to increase clicks

  • Offer content that is relevant to the target audience
  • Change the targeting criteria to reach contacts with a better interest potential
  • Use a strong call-to-action for a hyperlink (convincing text or an attractive button)
  • Verify my deliverability
