Adding Content in an Email

Email blocks (elements and structure) can be used to build an email or a template in the drag-and-drop editor. These blocks can contain different formats such as an image, text or a button. The elements (blocks) style can be customized (colors, size, mobile display).  

By default, several structure and content blocks are available to meet most needs. However, if none of the provided elements meet your specific needs, we can help you find a more personalized option, upon request.

In this article, you will discover all the blocks available by default in our drag-and-drop templates.

Layout Blocks

Use the layout blocks to create the layout of your email. The locations where the selected blocks can be dropped are indicated as you move around in the email.To customize the column(s), click on the edit icon . The edit options differ slightly depending on the number of columns you choose (background image, background color, column width, gutters). If you want to add a background image over the entire length of the message, use the Default styles section in the left-hand menu.

Elements Blocks

Title	Add a title To change the formatting of all the titles in the email, use the options in the Default Styles section. If you want a title to have a different style from the other titles, define your preferences in the Styles tab of that title.
Text	Add text To learn how to do this, see Inserting Text in an Email. To add text to an image, add a background image to your message (by editing the default styles) or to a 1-column block by editing the block.
Divider	Add a horizontal line in the message Used to separate content or to create a blank space (by changing the color to white). If you wish to have rounded corners, select the desired corners and enter a value in the Corner radius field.
Button	Add a button Enter the text you want on the button and select the link type. To do this, click on the Link field and then on the icon to open the link library.

YouTube Video	Add a Youtube video Copy and paste the link of your video, then define its width.
Horizontal content group	Add multiple contents horizontally (often used for menus) By default, the block has four content areas. To add an image or text, drag and drop a block from the Horizontal content group section: Horizontal image group Horizontal text group There is no limit to the number of images you can add, but the heavier your images are, the longer they will take to display.
Suivi social	Add links to your social media pages Social network icons are already provided, but you can change their color, style and size.
HTML code	Add custom HTML code This block is recommended for HTML experts.
Static RSS Feed	Extract the content of your RSS feed Allows to manually select the articles to display. To learn how to do this, see Share RSS Content by Email.
Dynamic RSS Feed	Extract content from your RSS feed Allows to update it automatically at the time of sending. To learn how to do this, see Share RSS Content by Email.
Countdown timer	Add a generic countdown The countdown is in days, hours, minutes and seconds.
Barcode	Insert a barcode The barcode can be generic or personalized. Select the type of barcode to use and then indicate the code itself.
Code QR	Generate a QR code The QR code redirects to one of your links.
iCalendar	Create an event The event is created as a downloadable .ics file. The recipient can then add the event calendar from Microsoft Outlook, Apple Calendar or Google Calendar.
Product	Insert a product Allows to choose a product from your product library.
Multiple products	Insert several products into the same block Allows to choose several products from your product library and group them in a block. This block allows you to repeat the style for all products.
Product Recommendation	Integrate a product recommendation You can configure a product recommendation and integrate it into this block. A recommendation generates a selection of products with an algorithm of your choice. This block displays dynamic content.
