How To
Display results in an image
This version of the results is only available for one mailing at a time. You can therefore display the most popular links in an image of the message for a single mailing or for a message that was sent in one mailing.
- From the list of elements, select the message or the mailing for which you want to view the most popular links. If needed, change the list of elements by selecting the right type of message using the slider, either Messages or Mailings.
- Once on the Summary page displayed, select the Impacts page in the drop-down list of options.
In the message image that displays, each link that has been clicked at least once shows a red circle, who's size varies with the number of clicks; higher is the number of clicks, bigger is the red circle. - To see the results associated to a specific link, you only need to place the cursor on the link or the corresponding circle to see all the related results displayed in a pop-up window. You can also choose to always see the results window by selecting to display the labels.
- You can change the results shown by clicking on the
sign next to the option Display labels. When all the labels are displayed, the results are the same, whether they are in the pop-up or in the image.
- When personalization elements are part of the message, you can see the personalized version that has been sent to a few contacts by selecting any of the contacts listed in the left pane, under the Sample of targeted contacts section. This list shows 25 targeted contacts, randomly selected.

Displaying results in a chart
This version of the click results can combine multiple mailings. It is available for messages, campaigns and mailings.

- Once on the Summary page displayed, select the Links page in the drop-down list of options.
The Links page displays and shows the click results by order of most clicked in a chart and in a table
Description of columns and options
Column | Description |
---|---|
Link name or Link URL | Depending on the selected display option, this column displays the name of the link (assigned when link was created and inserted in the message) or the URL of the link (URL address of the page opened by the link). |
Clickthroughs | Total number of clicks on this link, that is the number of times the link was clicked, including clicks done by the same person on the same link. |
Recipients | Total number of individual clicks on this link, that is the number of different contacts who have clicked on this link. If a person has clicked more than once on the link, only 1 click will be counted. |
Instance # | The number of instances corresponds to the number of times the link is inserted in the message. The first instance in the list corresponds to the first link that was created; the number is no indication of the display order in the message. If attributes were defined when the link was created, these attributes will be visible if the option Show attributes is selected. Otherwise, to know where the instance appears in the message, it is suggested to consult the click results through the Impacts page. |
