Results on clicked links in a message shows which links are the most popular and to see who are the contacts who have viewed and clicked on these links. Click results can be shown in an image of the message itself or in the form of a chart. Presenting the results in a image of the message lets you see quickly the most clicked links since the red circle that is shown for each link increases with the number of clicks; higher is the number of clicks, bigger is the red circle. In addition, the image display option provides the ability to print these results. As for results presented in a chart format, they show a list of all clicked links by popularity order.
Two versions of click results are available from the drop-down list of options.
> Results > EMail
This version of the results is only available for one mailing at a time. You can therefore display the most popular links in an image of the message for a single mailing or for a message that was sent in one mailing.
|Click rate||Percentage of different contacts who have clicked on this link amongst the value selected in the labels.|
|Click rate versus Messages sent||Number of different contacts who have clicked on this link amongst the total number of contacts targeted by the sent message.|
|Click rate versus Messages delivered||Number of different contacts who have clicked on this link amongst the total number of contacts to whom the message was delivered. (Delivered = Sent minus delivery errors)|
|Click rate versus Messages viewed||Number of different contacts who have clicked on this link amongst the total number of different contacts who have viewed this message.|
|Click rate versus Messages clicked||Number of different contacts who have clicked on this link amongst the total number of different contacts who have clicked on any link in the message.|
|Number of recipients||Number of different contacts who have clicked on this link.|
|Number of clicks||Total number of clicks on this link.
*If a contact has clicked twice on the same link, these 2 clicks are counted in the total number of clicks, but only 1 click is taken into account in the number of recipients.
|Link name||Name of the link, as provided when the link was created and inserted in the message.|
|Link URL||URL address of the page displayed when the link is clicked.|
This version of the click results can combine multiple mailings. It is available for messages, campaigns and mailings.
|Link name or Link URL||Depending on the selected display option, this column displays the name of the link (assigned when link was created and inserted in the message) or the URL of the link (URL address of the page opened by the link).|
|Clickthroughs||Total number of clicks on this link, that is the number of times the link was clicked, including clicks done by the same person on the same link.|
|Recipients||Total number of individual clicks on this link, that is the number of different contacts who have clicked on this link. If a person has clicked more than once on the link, only 1 click will be counted.|
|Instance #||The number of instances corresponds to the number of times the link is inserted in the message. The first instance in the list corresponds to the first link that was created; the number is no indication of the display order in the message. If attributes were defined when the link was created, these attributes will be visible if the option Show attributes is selected. Otherwise, to know where the instance appears in the message, it is suggested to consult the click results through the Impacts page.|
